FAQ

We have answers!

Do I need to be home?

Nope! If you have a gate code, we can keep that on file so we can enter and exit and you don't have to lift a finger. All we ask is that your dog is securely inside your home while we are on location. Even if you have the friendliest dog, it's our strict policy. After all, we're a stranger in your yard!

What do you do with the waste?

We prefer to securely bag, haul away, and properly + safely dispose of waste in ways that protect the environment and waterways for $5. We can also dispose in secured bag in residential garbage bins for no additional fee.

Is the sanitation and deodorization safe for my yard, pets, and environment?

Absolutely! In fact, sanitation tremendously benefits the environment by stopping the spread of viruses, bacteria, and parasites while deodorizing smells, and neutralizing mold. Our sanitation is an EPA approved formula, and our deodorization is an enzyme treatment safe for grass, plants, shrubs, patios, decks, dog runs, swing sets, fences, brick, turf, and any surface where odors are hard to remove. While safe for humans and pets alike, we recommend waiting for it to completely dry before enjoying your yard.

What if the weather is bad on my pickup day?

We show up rain or shine! There are instances such as very extreme cold or heat, or conditions such as high winds or floods when in that case, we will have to reschedule your service day that week, preferably the day before or after the scheduled service day.

What happens if I go on vacation?

You can pause your service at any time. We're here to pick it back up when you return!

Do you service commercial properties?

Yes we do! We offer for pet waste station management as well as waste removal,  and our sanitation & deodorization to businesses, HOAs, parks, and more. Contact us for more details.

Can my dog be outside when you're here?

We require all your dogs to be secured inside your home while we are on location. Even if you have the friendliest dog, it's our strict policy. After all, we're a stranger in your yard! You will know what day we are arriving, and we will send you a text to make you aware we are on our way. If we see a dog in the yard, we'll give you a call and/or knock on your door. If several attempts are made and no one is reached, we will have to skip this service and the full rate will still be charged. We are happy to come back as quickly as we can once we are able to get a hold of you to reschedule an add on service. Thank you for your understanding and helping to keep our staff safe.

Do you provide dog waste removal services all year round?

We do provide services all year round. Some exceptions apply; Brindle Scoopers will be closed on New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If your service day falls on one of these holidays the service will be moved to another day within the same week. As a family-owned and operated business, there may be times throughout the year when the business closes for several days due to vacations or family events and emergencies. Every effort will be made to adjust schedules and complete scheduled services during those time frames.

Do I need a hose attachment for deodorization and sanitation?

Currently, yes, you do need to have a hose on site in order for us to sanitize and deodorize the yard and patio.

Can I cancel at any time?

You may discontinue service, change subscriptions, or pause at any time. At least a 7 day notice prior to an appointment should be given for us to acknowledge and make the changes.

Can I request my arrival day and time?

Brindle Scoopers schedules all clean-ups in specific areas on specific days in order to best accommodate an efficient route and maximize the number of clients we can serve. Think of it like your typical garbage service. We will let you know what day of the week we will be coming. But we go the extra mile and send you an “on the way” and “completed” text message before and after each service.
